READERS have been getting in touch to tell us about what they think makes Llangollen special after it was chosen as Wales' best town.
More than 9,000 Which? members rated the inland towns and villages they'd visited, with the top spots going to Wells in Somerset and Avebury in Wiltshire.
But, Llangollen was selected as Wales' top place to visit and seventh on the list overall.
The town received an overall 79% destination score, thanks to a three-star rating for its shops and its 'peace and quiet' factor, four-star rating for its food and drink and tourist attractions and five-star ratings for its scenery and 'attractiveness'.
We picked out the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, Llangollen Railway, Castell Dinas Bran and Llangollen Bridge as just five of the must-visit spots in the Llangollen area.
And, after the news was announced, we asked our readers why they think Llangollen deserves the title of 'best town in Wales'.
Here are just some of the answers we received on our post.
Veronica Beadle told us: "Love Llangollen. One my favourites places in the world. Also Horseshoe Pass near by."
Noelle Obcarskas added: "Setting surrounded by hills and clean river running through."
Del Sweeney said: "Llangollen has many attractions compared to other places, river, canal, steam train, castle and of course the people are lovely. Oh and Plas Newydd, also plenty of walks and nice bars and hotels. A must place to visit."

Aaron Hewitt said: "One of my favourite places to escape to!"
Ada Walla added: "Stopped off there on way back to South Wales...After attending Wrexham game. It's a lovely place to visit."
