A BODY has been discovered in Ruthin which is believed to be that of a missing Chester man.

Dariusz Olczak, 60, was last seen by his wife early on Friday morning (September 15).

North Wales Police discovered a body, believed to be that of Mr Olczak, earlier today (September 18).

It is believed that he may have travelled to North Wales in his Honda Civic car, possibly to the Ruthin area.

Cheshire Police said he may also have been in Dyserth or Rhyl.

A statement from Cheshire Police read: “Officers searching for a missing man from Chester have sadly found a body.

“The body was found earlier today, in the Ruthin area, by officers from North Wales Police.

“Formal identification has not yet been completed, but the body is believed to be missing Chester man Dariusz Olczak; his next of kin have been informed.

“The cause of the death is not believed to be suspicious and a case file will be prepared for the coroner.”
