SEVERAL schools in Denbighshire have closed due to rainfall and flooding as a result of Storm Babet.
As the storm wreaks havoc across North Wales, 11 primary and secondary schools (thus far) have closed this afternoon, according to Denbighshire County Council.

The following schools were forced to close:
- Christ the Word Catholic School (primary and secondary)
- Christchurch School (primary)
- Denbigh High School (secondary)
- St. Brigid's School (primary and secondary)
- Ysgol Dewi Sant (primary)
- Ysgol Emmanuel (primary)
- Ysgol Glan Clwyd (secondary)
- Ysgol Llanbedr (primary)
- Ysgol Pen Barras (primary)
- Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn (Additional Learning Needs)
- Ysgol Tremeirchion (primary)
