Meliden
The Remembrance Garden in Meliden has been adorned by bottle poppies.
Ysgol Melyd children and Meliden Brownies have been busy turning the bottoms of plastic bottles into poppies and installing them on the fence at the Remembrance Garden.
The project was driven by Mai Hunt and Ann Wilkinson, two Meliden residents who felt very passionately that Meliden should honour the fallen in this special way.
Two silhouette soldiers have also been installed, one paid for by Prestatyn and Meliden Town Council and the other, a female soldier, by the Residents Groups active in the village
