THERE is plenty going on in Ruthin this festive season.
On November 25, there will be a Christmas Extravaganza. This will feature stalls and various entertainment throughout the day, at various locations: Ruthin Gaol, Nantclwyd y dre, St Peter’s Church, The Old Courthouse (Yr Hen Lys) and Ruthin Market Hall. This will run 10am until 4pm.
Santa's Grotto will be located at Yr Hen Lys.
On December 2, there a Christmas Lights Switch-on will be held at St Peter's Square. The lights will be turned on by Anne Roberts, mayor of Ruthin. This will take place at 5pm.
In attendance will be cast members from Ruthin Panto, Ysgol Borthyn choir and Meibion Marchan.
On December 9, there will be a Convoy of Lights. This will involve 130 trucks parading through the town, start and finish at Ruthin Farmers' Auction.
