A NEW support facility for those living with dementia and their carers has opened in Denbigh.
The Denbighshire dementia centre hub, run by Carers Trust North Wales (part of the memory support pathway), is now open at the Eirianfa centre between Monday and Thursday from 10am until 4pm.
A spokesperson for the centre said: "This will be a vital support system which will offer emotional and practical support for unpaid carers and those that they care for who have a diagnosis of Dementia."
The centre will be run by Iona Davies and Natasha Harper. It will be fully bi-lingual and will run various services from support groups to signposting or just a 'paned' and chat to offload.
An open day is being held on Wednesday, November 29 between 11am and 3pm.
People are welcome to come for a chat / refreshments. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the centre.
