IDENTICAL twins Cecelia and Clarissa Lees were surprised and excited to come face-to-face with an unexpected visitor in Rhyl.
The girls, also from Rhyl, were accompanying their Mum, Kelsey, for the weekly shop at Sainsbury's supermarket.
They were over the moon to see a cheery Santa and his musical float along with other members of Rhyl Rotary Club.
The sisters were keen to tell Santa about their Christmas wishes and he was pleased to reassure them that they were definitely on his 'good children' list.
With mum's help, the girls were delighted to make a contribution to the charities supported by the Rotary club.
Tony Thomas, president of the Rotary Club, said: "This is only the first day of our collections and we are overwhelmed by the generosity of everybody who has supported us; it looks like this will be a bumper year for us to help the many charities we support, including 'Rhyl Young Carers' and 'Blossom and Bloom' which helps young Mums in the Rhyl and surrounding areas."
Santa added: "Ho, ho, ho - so many delightful children with their families who are thinking of others who are less fortunate than themselves. I look forward to meeting everybody at Morrisons, Asda and the Co-op in St Asaph."
