A COLOURFUL art exhibition is underway at Ruthin Library.
The exhibition of work by Cacen Ffenest continues until April 27.
Cacen Ffenest is a contemporary digital image maker working with low-resolution imagery and digital paint.
By working in low resolution achieves soft edges, low quality, blurry and pixelated pieces of work that are not necessarily visibly resolved and are imprecise.
Cacen Ffenest takes the name from the Welsh Language for window cake.
The artist work shows the use of strong bold colours such as red and green in ‘Red’ to the lighter palate for ‘The Girl in Pink’.
Cacen Ffenest is heavily influenced by expressionism but also abstract expressionism and form.
Hopefully the artwork will ignite or show human emotions to each viewer.
