CLWYD West MS Darren Millar was transported to an era long before he was born when he paid a visit to an Denbigh attraction last week.
On May 17, Mr Millar visited the 1950s Museum at Cae Dai, a private collection of artefacts and memorabilia relating to the 1950s belonging to 'Sparrow' Harrison MBE.
The collection includes home-life and shops, entertainment and films, and a 1950s coffee bar and juke box.
There is also a working farm, community orchard, woodland walks and picnic area.

Mr Millar said: “I had heard many great things about Sparrow’s collection and was keen to see it for myself.
“I was amazed at just how many wonderful artefacts and memorabilia he had on show, featuring showbiz, crime and sport items, as well as classic cars, room settings, grocery brands and many other great items from the funky 50s and beyond.
“It really is a treasure trove and you could spend hours there looking at the many exhibits.
“The collection has been built up over the years with lots of donations from people, too.
“I was told that the museum attracts visitors both locally and nationally, and that they receive many positive Google business reviews with visitors saying that they love the museum, the welcome that they receive, and the memories that it invokes.
“The museum takes bookings for group visits and are currently pursuing the idea of schools visiting as part of the curriculum.
“I would urge anyone reading this who hasn’t already visited the museum, to make sure they go – I can assure them that they won’t be disappointed.
“What Sparrow has created is quite remarkable and I thank him for providing this unique visitor attraction in Denbighshire, and for inviting me to visit and showing me around.”
