A POPULAR pub is continuing to share exciting updates amid its refurbishment project.
The Bridge End in Llangollen closed in March this year to get underway with a huge transformation.
The project came shortly after the traditional establishment was taken over by new management team Aspire Inns Pub Company in October 2023.
Costing £1.5 million, the refurbishment will include the transformation of seven letting rooms, a brand-new kitchen, larger and more open bar area, a new function room and new bathrooms.
Owned by Robinsons Brewery and Country Village Inns LTD, the pub has been a favourite among locals and tourists for years situated next to the stunning River Dee.
A Country Inns spokesperson said: "The refurbishment work continues on the Bridge End.
"It still looks like a huge building site but it will start to come together very soon."
It is expected to take four-months to complete with the reopening date still in place for the end of July.
Matthew Cooper, Managing Director of Country Village Inns LTD said: "I’m confident that everyone will be happy with the finished product and can’t wait to open the doors and welcome everyone back."
Matthew previously said: "We love getting our pubs back into their communities and welcoming locals and visitors alike."
All updates will be shared on the Bridge End Llangollen Facebook page with an exact opening date to be announced very soon.
