BIN COLLECTIONS will take place in Ruthin today, as the council looks to "catch up" with those who have been missed.

The new Trolibocs system was introduced on June 3, but has seen households across the county wait for their refuse to be collected for weeks on end.

Yesterday (June 19), council leader Jason McLellan and chief executive Graham Boase apologised for the "difficulties" of the system.
