The Colourful Parade of Nations which takes place as part of Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod’s Core Week is taking place later this week.
This vibrant spectacle is scheduled to be held in Llangollen on July 3, starting at 4.30pm.
Groups from all different nations such as Burundi, Canada, China, Ghana, India, Japan, Malaysia, Morocco, Singapore, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, USA and Zimbabwe have been confirmed to participate.
The international contingents will be joined by a host of UK groups to make up the parade.
This pivotal event of the Llangollen Eisteddfod is set to take place less than a day after Tom Jones' much-anticipated debut at the festival.
A lively party at the Eisteddfod field is set to take place following the parade, where spectators can enjoy for just a pound.
Welsh folk group Calan tops the bill for the Wales Welcomes the World concert in the Pavilion, featuring Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists Johns’ Boys Chorus and Royal Harpist Alis Huws, along with the Llangollen International Orchestra.
John Gambles, vice-chair of the festival, expressed great enthusiasm about the event.

He said: "This year, our parade will be the biggest for years.
"We’ve got some amazing international competitors from around the world coming to our town in July.
"Our Parade of Nations is one of our most popular events and this will be followed by a huge celebration on our field as we truly welcome the World to Wales."
Town crier Austin "Chem" Cheminais will lead the way, ringing his bell as the children of Llangollen extend a warm welcome to visitors worldwide.
Senior pupils from Ysgol Bryn Collen and Ysgol Y Gwernant have been chosen to carry the Eisteddfod banner.
The Karamba Samba drum band will follow behind bringing rhythm to the procession.
Colourful national costumes worn by the competitors will create a multicultural display under the theme, Connect and Flourish.
A Kurdish band and its dancers will bring up the rear of the parade.
This annual event is expected to draw in even more participants and offer a more colourful display compared to last year’s parade which had thousands lining the streets.
Dave Danford, artistic director of the festival, is supervising the occasion.
He said: "This year, the profile of our festival has gone through the roof.
"Our partnership with Cuffe and Taylor means that this summer we are bringing some truly international artists to Llangollen, such as Bryan Adams, and Nile Rodgers & Chic.
"Our core Eisteddfod week remains the central part of everything we are doing, which is why we’re bringing our parade forward, to be held on the day that we welcome the World to Wales."
