A NEW cocktail bar has opened it's doors in Llangollen.
'Bar Vibez' welcomed new customers on a busy opening night, held on Saturday, July 6.
Originally from Manchester and now living in Oswestry, owner Joe Ainsworth spoke about his plans to breathe new life into the community.
"The building has been many things over the years, but I'm hoping we are there to stay and give the community a new and exciting place to come and drink", he says.
Despite the venue previously making a name for itself as a cocktail bar, Joe is determined to completely modernise and transform the building over time, offering a variety of unique refreshments and live entertainment.
He adds: "This is my fourth business over the past 20 years. I used to also run a pub not far from Llangollen so I have plenty of experience in hospitality.
"I've been looking for a venue for a while now and when I saw this place up for sale, I decided to grab it before someone else did. Places like this don't come up in this location very often.
"I'm hoping the bar, themed with a monochrome interior, will be somewhere really nice for people to come if they just want to chill or meet with friends.
"It will also be a great place for couples."
Situated on Oak Road, it is the ideal spot for locals and tourists to enjoy a social outing.
Joe added: "The opening went really well and all without a hitch! I'm now looking forward to opening up again on Thursday for a great second week in business."
Bar Vibez is open Thursday - Sunday, 1pm until late.
