A weekend of wellbeing-based activities will take place in Llanelidan next month.
Building on the success of last year’s 'Wellbeing Weekend', a series of events has been organised by the Friends of Saint Elidan, a Llanedlidan community group.
Pat Sumner, secretary of the group, said: "The last few years have been so hard for so many people.
"We’ve endured a pandemic and a cost-of-living crisis, which have really taken their toll."
"Many people feel stressed, low and weary, so we wanted to offer a weekend where busy people can take some time out to focus on their own wellbeing, healing and relaxation."
The weekend, filled with various activities, will start on Saturday, August 3.
It will feature sessions such as 'The Art of Relaxation', 'Chanting for Healing', a sound bath meditation and a Celtic morning prayer session.
Drop-in therapy sessions include acupressure, hands-on healing, reflexology and Indian head massage.
On Sunday, August 4, attendees will be able to attend an introduction to Tai Chi by veteran instructor Gaynor Gaynor.
The day will also feature a poetry writing workshop on the theme of gratitude, a gentle village walk, and a soothing Taizé service to wrap up the weekend.
