THE 160th Denbigh and Flint Show will once more bring the best of North Wales farming and agriculture together on August 15.
Having only ever been disrupted by world wars, disease or - most recently - Covid, the show, which attracts more than 18,000 people each year, is aiming to make this year's event at the Green in Denbigh the biggest celebration of life in rural North Wales yet.
There will be the popular livestock shows - ranging from magnificent heavy horses and impressive cattle to pigs and sheep and even diminutive ducks and guinea pigs in the fur and feather classes. If competitive horticulture is your thing then the regions top growers will have produce on display while bakers and crafters of all ages will go head-to-head on the food tents.
Visitors will be able to enjoy the spectacle of the sheep shearing competition, Denbigh and Flint Dog Show and carriage riding in a busy programme of events - or take time out at the funfair on-site.
From showjumping to falconry, fly fishing to metal detectoring, there are shows and demonstrations to suit all tastes and with around 200 stands offering everything from locally produced artisan foods to heavy agricultural machinery, it's a truly packed day for the whole family.
Tickets are £15 for adults, £5 for children under 16 or £35 for a family ticket, if bought in advance from the Flint and Denbigh Show website.
