THE annual Vale of Clwyd Tractor Run raised more than £3,500 this year, to be shared between its two chosen charities.

The organisers of another successful event met with the charities, Wales Air Ambulance and mental health farming charity The DPJ Foundation, following the run.

The run went from Ruthin Farmers Auction to the Ponderosa Cafe, on Horseshoe Pass.

Wales Air Ambulance and The DPJ Foundation will be sharing £3,671 between them.

A spokesperson for the event said: “The organisers gave a huge Diolch and thank you to our sponsors, the 90+ tractor run participants, their volunteers, plus all those making donations for their support.

“It’s an amazing amount for two excellent Welsh charity organisations – so, see you all next year, and the big question for the committee is where are we going to next year.”
