A SEARCH and rescue team came to the aid of a woman who had become trapped down a 'steep embankment' in Llangollen.
The incident took place on a busy Friday (July 26) for the North East Wales Search and Rescue team.
That same day, the volunteers helped rescue a family of five who had been lost "for hours" on Moel Famau.
Today, (Wednesday) the team has released details of a second incident they dealt with that day, which involved a woman who had fallen down a 'steep embankment' in Llangollen.

The team completed a 'tricky extraction' process in order to bring her back to safety.
A NEWSAR spokesperson said: "Our second callout on Friday night (July 26) was to a lady in Llangollen who had fallen and become stuck down a steep embankment.
"Our team members administered pain relief and completed a tricky extraction. We wish the casualty a speedy recovery."
