Crimestoppers is offering a £20,000 reward for anyone with information that can help them solve the murder of a woman from Anglesey in 1994.

Doreen Morris was murdered at her home overnight between March 24 and 25 back in 1994.

Her remains were found in a bedroom at her home, and several items that had been stolen from the property were found across various locations in the surrounding area.

It is believed the property was broken into via a locked back door and was set alight following the incident.

Crimestoppers offering a £20,000 reward for details about Anglesey murder

More than 30 years later Crimestoppers is offering a £20,000 reward for anyone with information about the murder that might help bring about a prosecution.

Wales Manager at Crimestoppers, Hayley Fry, said: “We know that sometimes it’s too difficult for people to go to the police about what they know – and that can be for a range of reason including fear of intimidation or loyalties.

"However, this case is absolutely tragic and, with so many years passing, relatives of Doreen and the wider community deserve to know what happened – and who was responsible.

“If you don’t want to speak to the police, please contact charity Crimestoppers.

"We are independent and guarantee that you will stay 100% anonymous – that means no police, no courts, no witness statements.

"Tell us what you know and you’re done. We’ll pass it on for you.

"After so many years, if you’ve held on to information that could help bring justice for Doreen, now is your opportunity to right the wrong, out of tragedy, and make a difference.”
