Ruthin School has announced another outstanding set of GCSE results this year, with 25% of all grades at the highest A* rating.
A quarter of its results were grade nine while 40% were grades eight or grade nine.
Among the schools highest achievers was Hitha from Wrexham, who achieved an amazing eight grade nines.
"I’m really happy and proud of myself as all the hard work has paid off," she said. "I’m thankful to my parents and my teachers for supporting me. Next year I want to study Biology, Chemistry and Maths here and I hope towork in healthcare in the future."
Charlotte from Ruthin achieved a nine fantastic grades eights and nines was also thrilled with her results.
"I’m relieved because I got the results I wanted. I’m really glad and thankful for my teachers’ help through the exams. I want to work in engineering when I’m older, and now I feel I’m on my way. I have been here since Year Seven and I’ve made friends for life. Now I’m looking forward to starting Year 12."
