Denbigh High School headteacher Glen Williams recognised the hard work and determination of this year's GCSE students as students returned impressive results.
There were many success stories across the school, with all learners achieving the best results possible for their individual circumstances.
Special mentions went to Liam Bennett, Daisy Payne, Tom Edwards, Oli Owen and Rhys Roberts for their high academic performances as well as to Grace Griffiths who achieved a full set of A* and A grades.
"Congratulations to all our Year 11s for their excellent results,"said Glen. "The effort they put into their studies is clearly reflected in their outcomes and they should be proud of the success they have achieved.
"Many of our Year 11 learners are returning to the Sixth Form and we are excited to see them go from strength to strength with their academic and personal development."
