A MUCH-LOVED fishing shop is relocating in north Wales following nearly 60-years of trading in St Asaph.
Foxons is one of the largest Game Fishing Shops in the country with hundreds of rods, both new and second hand, on display.
After 57 "incredible" years based in St Asaph the business is thrilled to be opening a brand new shop in Llangollen in early 2025, says owners Renee Foxon and father, Arthur.
The new Foxons will specialise in what owners hold a deep passion for, fly and lure fishing.
The new location in the Llangollen area will be near the beautiful and world famous River Dee.
After an unbelievable 57-years of Foxons in St Asaph, the door will be open for the final time on Saturday, November 31.
Customers are invited to come and join the team on the day, to celebrate with and share good memories.
Renee said: "We would like to thank you all in advance for your patience with us while this transition is happening.
"We will be open throughout for online sales and click and collect, where and whenever possible during this period.
"The family and team are so grateful for the continued loyal support of you, our customers, and know that together we can take Foxons into its new era."
An exact location and opening date will be confirmed nearer the time.
