PARKING for 30 minutes or less will become free of charge at a pay and display car park in Denbigh next week.

This change, at Factory Ward car park, will take effect from Monday (September 2).

Currently, parking for up to 30 minutes at the Denbighshire County Council-operated car park costs 80p.

The “long stay” car park is open all year round, from 8am until 11pm.

Factory Ward car park - existing pay and display charges

  • Up to 30 minutes - £0.80
  • Up to 1 hour - £1.50
  • Up to 3 hours - £2.50
  • Over 3 hours - £4.00

  • Up to 30 minutes - Free
  • Up to 1 hour - £1.50
  • Up to 3 hours - £2.50
  • Over 3 hours - £4.00
