CUSTOMERS are delighted as a popular North Wales hotel and pub reopens after a five-month refurbishment.
The Bridge End in Llangollen opened its doors on August 30 following a complete transformation costing £1.5 million.
New tenants 'Country Village Inns' took over the much-loved establishment in October 2023 with the intention of creating charm, comfort and exceptional hospitality.
Managing Director Mat Cooper said: "I have family and roots in Wales so was keen to explore expanding the company into this beautiful country. Bridge End will be one of many in the area hopefully for us over the coming years."
The work includes a full refurbishment of seven letting rooms, new bathrooms, a function room, a new kitchen and a larger, more open bar area.

There is also outdoor social seating available on Mill Street, decorated with floral hanging baskets and wooden picnic benches.
Whilst the new kitchen team gets used to the new equipment and systems, the menu has been temporarily reduced. All regular diners will notice the menu slowly growing until a full menu has been established in the near future. It may be small, but it packs a punch!
Customers are welcome to see the venue in its new glory for themselves. Open from 9am until 11pm every day.
