Denbigh and Corwen are set to host a second round of Placemaking Plans Drop-in sessions early this month.

Following the success of the first round, these sessions aim to improve a place by considering all aspects that make a place great for living, working, and visiting.

The Corwen session will take place on September 10 at the Corwen Library from 12pm to 5pm, and the Corwen Memorial Park Hall from 5.30pm to 8pm.

Residents are invited to drop in at any point during these times to have their say.

Denbigh's session will be held on September 11 at the Denbigh Library between 2pm and 8pm.

Jason McLellan, leader and lead member for Economic Growth & Tackling Deprivation, said: "Our towns are shaped by the people who live, work and visit them, and their opinions will help define the future vision of these plans in their respective towns.

"I would urge residents to come along to voice their opinions on the Placemaking Plans, and to see how the previous sessions’ feedback has shaped them."

Staff from Denbighshire County Council will be in attendance to document the public's ideas about the vision and interventions needed for both towns.

The county council wants to ensure that the feedback collected to date is accurate and aims to continue to collect views and perspectives on the draft strategy and proposals that have been prepared.

The first round of sessions was held in June which saw residents voice their opinions on the future of their towns.

The meetings in September will therefore discuss these prepared draft strategies and suggestions.

The latest sessions will discuss the changes made.
