Plans have been submitted for improvements to a footpath below the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
The proposals include realigning the path, adding new steps, landings, railings, and handrails, and landscaping the area.
A separate application has been made to install two grab rails at a property in Duke Street, Ruabon.
Both sites are within conservation areas.
The applications can be viewed on the Wrexham County Borough Council website or by appointment at the Guildhall.
The council is inviting comments on the proposals, which can be sent by post to the Guildhall, Wrexham, LL11 1AY, or by email to planning_admin@wrexham.gov.uk.
Comments must be submitted by October 2.
The council has stated that it welcomes correspondence in Welsh and will respond in Welsh if requested, without causing any delay.
