A MAN from Denbigh refused to leave the cells as he was jailed after breaching the terms of his previous release from prison.
Nathan Hughes, 33, was re-arrested after North Wales Police had made appeals for help in locating him.
He appeared in court today (October 1), where he was sentenced to two weeks’ imprisonment.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “Having refused to leave the cells, Hughes was also found to be in contempt of court, and was subsequently jailed for 14 days.”
