A POPULAR event on the North Wales calendar will return at the end of this year to once again raise money for a great cause.
Last year's Illuminated Tractor Run in Llangollen raised over £1,200.
The funds raised went towards supporting three worthy causes - The Teenage Cancer Trust, Nightingale Hope Hospice, and a community defibrillator.
Despite the terrible weather, hundreds of people gathered to support the event which saw over 50 tractors take part.
Organisers, Llangollen Young Farmers Club, have now confirmed that the tractor run will once again return this year on Sunday, December 1.
The route will see the tractors travel from Llangollen through Trevor, Plas Madoc, Rhos, Wrexham, Johnstown, Ruabon, Chirk and Fron before making their way back to Llangollen.
This year, the funds raised will go towards the children's ward at the Wrexham Maelor hospital.
Tractors will set off from around 5pm and anyone interested in signing up to take part (for the cost of £20) can do so here.
Announcing the 2024 event, organisers said: "Here’s the 2024 route so come on drivers, get in touch for an application form to secure a space and get shopping for those lights and horns and help us make it a special evening!"
