A PRISONER who has absconded may be in North Wales, police have said.
Rhys Allen, 30, left HMP Sudbury in Derbyshire on Sunday, October 20 at about 4.15am.
He was serving an eight-year sentence for aggravated burglary and possession of a firearm, issued to him in 2017.
Allen is white, about 5ft10ins in height, of slim build, with brown eyes.
Derbyshire Police said he has links to the Merseyside, Cheshire, Dyfed-Powys, North Wales, Thames Valley, West Midlands, South Yorkshire, Leicestershire, and Northamptonshire areas.
A force spokesperson said: “If you know where Allen is, please contact Derbyshire Police, with reference 184-201024:
“You can also anonymously contact the independent charity, Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111, or by visiting the Crimestoppers website.”
