NORTH East Wales Search and Rescue assisted police in rescuing a man from the summit of Moel Famau on Monday evening.
He had sustained a lower leg injury, and was easily located via the Sarloc phone find before a team was deployed.
The casualty was fully assessed and driven down from the summit in one of the team vehicles to await a family member in the lower carpark to aid onward travel.
A NEWSAR spokesperson said: "We wish the casualty a speedy recovery and would also like to thank the Clwydian and Dee Valley Rangers who transported the gentleman's two dogs from the summit to the carpark.
"Our team of volunteers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days responding to those in need throughout Flintshire, Denbighshire, Wrexham & parts of Conwy & Powys."
