A musical theatre super-group is to perform in Wrexham and Bangor this Christmas.
Welsh of the West End is back for a festive concert at the William Aston Hall in Wrexham on Tuesday, December 17.
They will then perform at Pontio in Bangor on Wednesday, December 18.
The evening will feature Christmas classics and musical theatre favourites, with performances from stars of shows such as Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, and Wicked.
Welsh of the West End was formed during the first Covid lockdown in March 2020 by Steffan Hughes, a performer and TV and radio presenter from the Vale of Clwyd.
He brought together a group of Welsh talent to create a virtual performance of the song 'Seasons of Love' from the musical Rent.
The video gained a million views, sparking more than 20 virtual performances that collectively surpassed 20 million views.
The group became an 'online viral sensation' and subsequently reached the live semi-finals of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.
