DENBIGH, Ruthin, St Asaph and Llangollen honoured the country's fallen heroes on Remembrance Sunday.
In Ruthin 1918 Air Cadet squadron led the remembrance parade as crowds gathered to pay their respects at Ruthin War Memorial on Wynnstay Road.
A small contingent of cadets then headed to Llanarmon yn Iâl where a later service was held to remember aircrew of WF502, a crashed RAF Washington bomber of 90 Squadron, which operated on missions for Bomber Command during World War II.
In Denbigh hundreds turned out to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in defence of our nation.
Following a small service of prayer in St Mary's Church the parade marched up to the top of the town where military, emergency service and community dignitaries placed their wreaths at the war memorial and an act of remembrance was observed.
St Asaph began its commemoration with a service at the cathedral, followed by a parade to the War Memorial and wreath laying.
Poppy wreaths were laid by the Mayor of the City of St Asaph, Chairman of Denbighshire County Council, the Royal Welsh, emergency services, political figures, schools and community groups.
Around 400 people attended the service in the cathedral before lining the route of the parade and gathering at the War Memorial for the acts of remembrance.
Retired Major Mike Adams led Llangollen's Remembrance Parade in from Market Street to Centenary Square.
There poppy wreaths were laid by Llangollen Town Council and Llantysilio Community Council.
Tributes were also paid by Ken Skates MS, Becky Gittins MP, Denbighshire County Council, Royal British Legion, Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Royal Air Force Association, Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers. Northern Ireland Veterans, Bosnia Veterans, Afghanistan Veterans, Iraq Veterans, Army Cadets, Air Training Corps, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, North Wales Police, Ysgol Dinas Bran, Ysgol Y Gwernant, Ysgol Bryn Collen, Llangollen Brownies, Llangollen Scouts, Llangollen Inner Wheel, Llangollen 41 Club, St Collen’s Lodge, Llangollen Railway, Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, Llangollen Museum, Llangollen Operatic & Dramatic Society, Llangollen Women's Institute, Llangollen FC and Llangollen Youth FC.
