Thousands of schoolchildren across North Wales are set to take part in a festive fun run.
St David’s Hospice is inviting schools, nurseries, and youth groups across Conwy, Gwynedd, and Anglesey to join this year’s Santa Dash after last year’s event raised almost £15,000.
Sam Dennis, relationship fundraiser for the hospice, said: "The school children who took part in last year’s Santa Dashes were brilliant, we appreciate their amazing work, and we look forward to seeing them again this year.
"Our thanks also go to Excell Supply who have come on board again this year as Santa Dash sponsors – we are so grateful to them for their generosity."
The hospice is asking schools to choose a day to hold the event between now and the Christmas break.
Mr Dennis added: "We are completely flexible with this festive fundraising challenge.
"The school can set the date, time, location, and distance the children need to run.
"We had several teachers last year who decided to incorporate their Santa Dashes with a PE lesson."
Each child will receive a Santa hat to wear, and each school will be given a certificate of thanks.
