TORRENTIAL downpours and strong winds are hitting North Wales this weekend following the cold snap.
Storm Bert hits the UK this weekend - and is set to bring heavy rain and strong winds on Saturday.
Heavy rainfall is in forecasted throughout much of Saturday - and Natural Resources Wales has urged people to keep an eye on its flood alerts.
A Met Office forecast states: "Storm Bert bringing a widely unsettled and potentially disruptive day with heavy, persistent rain and gales, severe along coasts. Turning noticeably milder, resulting in a rapid melt of lying snow. Maximum temperature 13 °C."
Yellow wind warnings are in place for much of North Wales - including the Llangollen and Chirk areas.
The outlook for Sunday is much improved, with sunny intervals forecasted - but strong winds will remain throughout the day.
