A MAN from St Asaph who has been charged with the rape of a woman in Abergele has been bailed.
Ricci David Thomas, 26, was granted conditional bail at Mold Crown Court on Friday (November 29), having initially been remanded in custody.
He has also been charged with assault by penetration in relation to the incident, which was reported to have happened near Bridge Street on the evening of November 22.
The alleged victim made a report to North Wales Police the following day.
Thomas appeared before Llandudno Magistrates' Court on November 26, when he was remanded in custody.
He will next appear at Caernarfon Crown Court on January 6, 2025.
