THE last fixture in the North Wales Cross Country League series was held in Oswestry in the sunshine - although there were plenty of mud, bogs, streams and ditches to negotiate.
19 adult Denbigh Harriers took part and six Juniors.
In the series overall, many trophies and medals were won by Denbigh Harriers:
- Joanne Henderson was equal first woman overall
- Joanne was also first F45
- Victoria Whitehead was second F50.
- Mel Morris was third F50 Emma Collins was first F60
- Menai Baugh was first F65
- Mark Watling was third M65
- Dave Passe was second M70
- Tony Wood was first M35
The women were first in Division 2 and go back up to Division 1.
Meanwhile, the Masters Women were the third masters team.
In the Junior section, the U13 boys from Denbigh Harriers were third team.
