DENBIGH Dragons Swimming Club have continued their great start to the 2024 swimming calendar
At Llandudno Swimming Centre at the Menai AA & B Meet, 10 Dragons took part in 39 races, with ages ranging from nine to 16.
Tom Roberts, 12, took part in his first swimming competition.
An excellent 19 medals were won, with 18 Personal Bests recorded.

AA Grade
Seren Rowles (16) 2 x Gold – 50M Breaststroke & 50M Freestyle, 1 x Silver – 50M Backstroke, 1 x Bronze – 100M Breaststroke
Elenid Parry (11) 1 x Gold – 50M Butterfly, 1 x Silver – 100M Butterfly
Saoirse McDonnell (9) 2 x Gold – 50M Butterfly & 50M Freestyle
B Grade
Mared Parry (13) 1 x Gold – 50M Breaststroke, 1 x Silver – 100M Breaststroke
Tom Roberts (12) 1 x Gold – 50M Freestyle, 1 x Silver – 50M Breaststroke
Isabelle Owen (11) 1 x Gold – 100M Freestyle, 1 x Silver – 100M Backstroke

Just missing out on a medal placement was Elsie Croft,11, who achieved a respectful top 10 finish in her three races.
Back in January, 10 of the Dragons made their way over the Pennines to compete in Sheffield at the prestigious Ponds Forge International Sports Centre.
The swimming pool is Long Course, 50 metres, and has held many British Championships over the years.
It was an amazing experience for the Dragons to swim in such a large arena.
They were all placed within the top 10 of their races, and Elenid Parry, 11, came away with two medals – Gold in 50M Butterfly and Bronze in 50M Backstroke.
Denbigh Dragons coaches were so proud of all who made the journey over and all the team who took part: Kate Davies, Sioned Endres, Eva Evans, Lilly Gage, Harriet Goodall, Margaret Goodall, Bethan Jones, Mared Parry, and Seren Rowles.
