PROMOTION is assured for Corwen following another big win.

Corwen, who will be in Division Three of the North Wales Cricket League next summer, claimed a thumping 243-run success at Dolgellau Seconds to put them on the verge of claiming the Division Four title.

Tom King (112) and John Wildman (53) were the main scorers as Corwen struck 272 for five from their 40 overs.

Dolgellau were then all out for 29, with Gareth Rigden picking up an amazing 8-12.
