A LATE strike ensured that Bala Town claimed their first Cymru Premier point of the season.
The Lakesiders looked to be on course for a second successive defeat when they trailed Haverfordwest County 1-0 in Saturday's encounter.
However, with just seven minutes left to play, Ollie Shannon grabbed the crucial leveller when his effort eluded the grasp of Lewis Brass in the County goal.
It was Haverfordwest who enjoyed the better of the first half and they went close to claiming the lead on 22 minutes.
After a mix-up in the home backline, Jordan Davies' attempt rebounded off the post and Nathan Peate was able to clear.
However, the breakthrough did eventually come 11 minutes shy of the interval.
Jack Wilson picked up possession on the edge of the box and he struck the ball beyond Alex Ramsay and into the bottom right hand corner of the net.
Bala enjoyed a brighter beginning to the second period, with Lassana Mendes being at the forefront of much of the good work going forward.
They had to wait until the 83rd minute to finally get their goal, which gets the points tally going for the new campaign.
At this early point of the season, Bala find themselves in ninth spot in the standings and they will be looking for the three points on Friday at home to Newtown, who are also searching for that first win of the campaign.
