TWO wins from their last three matches will be enough for Ruthin to stave off relegation from Division Two of the North Wales Cricket League.
Ruthin were unable to effectively make sure of their safety over the weekend as they suffered a heavy defeat to in-form Carmel & District.
Batting first, Ruthin were only able to make 66 all out.
Ieuan Wynne Lewis (18) top scored as Amer Jamil (5-15) caused the bulk of the damage with the ball.
Ieuan Jones (31 not out) helped Carmel to a winning 70 for two. Osian Roberts finished with 2-15 for Ruthin.
