WALES National County (North) completed their season with a thrilling 12-run win at home to Staffordshire Development.
Colwyn Bay hosted the midweek encounter, which was a 50-overs-per-side match.
Staffordshire elected to spend the early portion of the game in the field after they won the toss.
This appeared to be a sound decision as North Wales were restricted to 214 for eight.
Good efforts in the top order were supplied by St Asaph's Mathew Ryan (56), Mochdre's Matt Humphreys (32) and Menai Bridge player Jack Gower (22).
A superb knock of 53 from Northop's Richie Walker helped North Wales get beyond the 200 mark.
N Priestley (3-24) was the pick of the visitors' attack.
Staffordshire were all out for 202 in their reply.
Priestley completed a fine all-round showing by top scoring with 78, while F Doorbar made 54 not out.
However, Chris Ellwood (3-35), Matt Humphreys (3-50) and Jason Foulkes (2-36) ensured victory went the way of North Wales.
