THERE'S been an ace in the pack at Ruthin Pwllglas Golf Club!
Oliver Gray claimed a hole-in-one at the seventh hole during last week's winter league competition at the club.
Week seven of the league witnessed warmer weather, which brought the players out and a total of 59 members took part in the competition.
Joshua Duckworth did not play during the previous weekend, but he stormed back in fine style this time out.
He won the competition with a fantastic score of 45 points to retake the overall lead in the league.
Duckworth is now 15 points ahead of second-placed Harvey Jones, with Gareth Williams in third spot.
With only three competitions left, Duckworth's lead looks unassailable.
John Ll Williams was back on form and he won division one with 40 points, one point behind Alistair Dodd, who took the division two plaudits.
Results:
Overall winner, Joshua Duckworth 45pts. Division 1: 1, John Ll Williams 40; 2, Tudor Foulkes 40; 3, Gwyn Jones 38. Division 2: 1, Alistair Dodd 41; 2, David Evans 40; 3, Ian Vaughan-Evans 39.
