DINBYCH'S hopes of claiming a first win of the season were thwarted by a 47-15 loss in their home Division One (North) meeting with Llandudno.
After an even opening period, Dinbych took the lead with an unconverted try in the corner by left wing Aidyn Jones.
However, Llandudno then began to dominate through the driving play of their forwards and good supporting play by the backs to score three converted tries.
These came from Aaron Williams (2) and Harri Evans, with James Andrew adding the extras.
Leading 21-5 at the interval, Llandudno increased their lead with a try by Tom Andrew, converted by James Andrew.
Dinbych hit back with a try by skipper Tom Seddon, who beat several defenders to go over in the corner after a scything run from halfway by co-centre Gruff Roberts.
Llandudno replied with a second try by Harri Evans, again converted by James Andrew, only for Dinbych to respond with their third unconverted try when Gruff Roberts sliced through from the 22.
It was Llandudno who finished the stronger, scoring two tries in the closing minutes via Morgan Owen and Lewis Glove, with Andrew adding the conversion to the latter.
