A LATE goal denied Bala Town the opportunity to secure three points from their Cymru Premier League trip to Penybont.
Colin Caton's side held a 2-1 advantage versus Penybont with time ticking on, but a late, late leveller made sure that it finished up 2-2.
There was an early shock for the Lakesiders, who fell behind after only four minutes.
A long ball forward was taken down by Lewis Clutton, who supplied a tidy finish beyond Bala keeper Harri Lloyd.
Bala had a penalty shout turned down when Lassana Mendes went down in the box, while Lloyd pulled off a fine save to deny Kane Owen as Penybont pressed.
However, Bala were right back in the contest after an hour.
Lassana Mendes found his way into a dangerous position and he finished well with a fierce strike to make it one-apiece.
Penybont looked to regain their lead with 20 minutes remaining, but Lloyd made a fine save to deny Owen once again.
Then, with 13 minutes left to play, Bala had the lead.
Luke Wall was the creator by playing the ball to captain Chris Venables, who fired into the net from some 12 yards.
However, another goal would arrive before the end and it went in favour of Rhys Griffiths' hosts.
On 88 minutes, Kane Owen's free kick went into the net via a deflection.
