FIVE-STAR Denbigh Town are still on course for a treble.

Dewi Llion Jones' side booked their spot in the final of the Ardal North League Cup via a comfortable 5-1 success over Builth Wells.

A quartet of second half goals followed Jake Walker’s first-half opener as Town continued their push for silverware on three fronts.

There were warm conditions as the sun came out at Central Park, with Matthew Worrall having the home side's first chance when he forced Builth Wells keeper Zeke Vivian into an excellent save.

At the other end, Town number one Aaron Jones made a good save of his own, before Denbigh went ahead in the 19th minute.

Walker picked the ball up with his back to goal before shooting on the turn to beat Vivian.

The Builth keeper was kept busy as he kept out a long-range attempt from Paul Fleming and a low strike by Nathan Brown.

Worrall hit the crossbar as Town sought a second goal, while Denbigh came out for the second half with real purpose.

It was 2-0 after nine minutes of the second period.

Worrall fired home to double his side's advantage and it was effectively game over just three minutes after this.

In a real contender for goal of the season, Ben Lockley crossed from the right and Nathan Brown hit a first time volley into the net.

Builth Wells weren't just there to make up the numbers and they began to pose a threat.

Lyndon Jones’ shot from the right was parried by goalkeeper Jones and the ensuing corner saw an effort hit the crossbar.

This pressure told when a mix-up at the back led to Rowlands slotting into to an empty net.

Entering the closing 10 minutes and both sides were pressing for further goals.

Denbigh did grab their fourth goal when Dan Parry-Jones crossed from the right and Worrall smashed home a brilliant volley.

That wasn't quite the end of the scoring and late on, substitute Ollie Hansen hammered home his side's fifth goal.

In the final, Denbigh will take on Llangefni Town.
