THERE'S been another ace in the pack at Denbigh Golf Club.
The Old Course at St Andrews proved to be the inspiration for a Denbigh member, who has claimed his first ever hole-in-one.
Just a few days after returning from the iconic home of golf, Trefor O Jones needed just one shot to hole out on the ninth hole at his home club!
Further good news for the club is the return of three divisions of results for competitions.
Last Thursday was marked by a stableford contest, which was won via a 41-point haul from Jon Copeman.
Gold and bronze division winners D Paul Roberts and Glyn Owens bagged 39 points on the day, while Robert Davies topped the silver section with 36 points.
Result: Winner, Jon Copeman (17) 41pts. Gold: 1, D Paul Roberts (11) 39;2, Jason Beecham (8) 39. Silver: 1, Robert Davies (18) 36; 2, Jon Roberts (18) 35. Bronze: 1, Glyn Owens (24) 39; 2, David W Jones (26) 38.
