DEI Hughes is the king of the Castle!
Ruthin Pwllglas Golf Club held its Castle Cup medal qualifier over the weekend, with 67 taking part.
They played on the grass tees for the first time this year, making the course longer and far more challenging for some people.
The winner, who coped best with the longer course, was Dei Hughes with an excellent nett round of 61.
D Neil Roberts topped Division One, with Phil Evans continuing his excellent form to finish at the top of Division Two.
The midweek stableford competition was won by Ann Ellis Davies with a score of 35 points, with Delyth Edwards the runner-up and Nia Davies was third.
