ALL good things must come to an end.
Denbigh suffered their first North Wales Cricket League Premier Division defeat of the season with a heavy loss at Northop.
Northop made first use of the batting track on the day and they were all out for 195 in the final over of their innings.
Ben Beaver's excellent form continued as he top scored with 63, while Andy Poynton struck 36 in the middle order.
Kieran Gilly's 4-39 return was the stand-out performance for Denbigh, while Ifan Jones (2-26) and Sam Lewis (2-31) also impressed.
Denbigh will have been looking for a solid beginning to their response and while skipper Harrison Jones struck 31 at the top of the order, there wasn't much in the way of support.
No other batsman reached double figures and Denbigh were all out for 83 in the 35th over.
Ashraf Nawab, the leading wicket-taker in the history of the Liverpool Competition, took three for seven, while there were a couple of wickets apiece for Andy Poynton, Charlie Collins and captain Bart Ryan-Beswick.
