FOUR-MIDABLE Adam Smith continues to lead the way at Ruthin Pwllglas Golf Club.
Smith is the club champion for the fourth year in a row after dealing with tough conditions at the club.
There were no sub-70 rounds in this scratch event over the weekend and Smith won with a gross score of 143, four clear of Dylan Jones, who had the best round of the weekend on Sunday, bringing in a score of 70.
There were some excellent scores in the midweek competition with Liz Price winning the GUW medal and Past Lady Captains trophy with an excellent nett score of 66. Sue Roberts also scored 66 but lost out on the back nine, with Janet Turner in third.
Gareth Humphries has come charging up the standings for the summer league, which now enters the final week.
A tally of 31 points saw him win last week, while Kim Webb has a slender lead in the league.
