LLANRHAEADR stretched their advantage at the top of the Tillwise Summer League to five points after they won a classic battle of the top-two at Nantglyn.
Sam Jones' hat-trick helped Llanrhaeadr to triumph 5-4 as they recorded their eighth win of the season. Llyr Morris netted the other two, while Joe Maguire netted a brace for Nantglyn.
Llangynhafal are up to second after they beat Caerwys 4-0, with Gethin Jones, Alun Vaughan Evans and Josh Jones (2) on target, while Clawddnewydd and Cefn drew 0-0.
Rhewl (Llyr Davies) and Ysceifiog (Tom Cummings) played out a 1-1 outcome, while Ynyr Rogers, Jason Alexander (2) and Matty Pleavin helped Llanfair to a 4-2 success at Henllan (Nico Clwyd, Ben Allis).
Elsewhere, Craig Jones (3), Josh Jones (2) and Tom Hughes (2) led Llandyrnog to a 7-0 win over Trefnant.
On a goal-den Thursday night, Owen Cordiner scored five as Llangynhafal defeated Henllan 9-1, while Llandyrnog beat Rhewl 9-3. Josh Jones scored four for the hosts.
Geraint Jones hit a hat-trick in Nantglyn's 8-0 outcome versus Caerwys, Llanrhaeadr defeated Clawddnewydd 6-0 and it was 1-1 between Llanfair and Cefn.
The other match witnessed a 3-1 win for Ysceifiog at Trefnant.
