A MAGNIFICENT seven has kept Llanrhaeadr at the top of the Tillwise Summer League.
The defending champions maintained their spot at the top with a 7-0 success over Caerwys on Monday, as Sam Jones netted four. Kevin Evans, Osian Audley and Cai Frith bagged the others.
Second-placed Llangynhafal remain two points back following a 2-0 win at Clawddnewydd, courtesy of Max Cooke and Ben Smith, while the match of the night witnessed a 5-5 draw between Nantglyn and Llandyrnog.
Geraint Jones (2), Luke Molmans (2) and Gruff Roberts struck for Nantglyn, as Craig Jones (3), John Jones and Pat Hinchcliffe struck for Llandyrnog.
Lou Brierley (2), Julian Watson, Rhys Roberts and Matty Pendleton led Trefnant to a 5-3 verdict over Llanfair, who hit back through Harry Tudor (2) and Tom Roberts, while Rhydian Williams (2), Steffan Williams, Jared Roberts and Gruff Jones found the target in Cefn's 5-0 win over Rhewl.
Elsewhere, Mike Gilsenan, Tom Cumming, Dan Jones and Joe Harrison were the marksmen as Ysceifiog defeated Henllan 4-2. Neil Davies and Alex Williams responded.
On Thursday, Llanrhaeadr gained a 5-1 success at Henllan and Llangynhafal got the better of Llanfair 2-0.
